After such a bad string of days, today is a Good Day!
So, first we hear that Ivy may be improving – not out of the woods yet, but she’s not running liquids out of both ends, and that’s a good thing (as Martha would say )

Ivy didn’t vomit overnight and her stool is a bit firmer today, so things are looking up! Thank you all for your kind words and prayers, we appreciate them so much. Keep everything crossed yet though, she’s not out of the woods.
We stopped to visit Ivy after work. She was still pretty active, just not as bouncy as a kitten should be. I felt a lot better after seeing her and cuddling her. We’ll know more tomorrow.

Ivy has been vomiting and has had the runs today in the clinic, so she’s gotten fluids and had some antibiotics injected, and will be staying there overnight.

The vet replied and we’ll be taking Ivy in tomorrow AM for a checkup. Ivy just ate a good meal of the hypoallergenic food, and now she’s grooming and purring and cuddling. Too cute.
After work we went to Lorene’s brother’s for supper, and when we came back we went straight to Ivy. It looks like she’s thrown up on one of the blankets in the cat condo, and ALL the poo in the litterbox is runny. Her energy level still seems okay, and she’s alert and [...]
I feel like a second-rate (or third or fourth rate) tea-leaf reader, except my chosen medium is the litterbox. This morning an inspection of Ivy’s litterbox revealed that what looked like clumps of pee was actually diarrhea. She’s done the course of molasses-ish paste, and has a lot of energy, [...]
Ivy continues to be as healthy as a teeny tiny little horse. Right now she’s falling asleep and purring in Leslie’s lap. She is going to make someone very happy someday.
Ivy makes an excellent mouser.
