In 2005 we fostered a momma rabbit and her two babies. We named the black and white mom Emmy, and the babies Enzo (grey) and Ebony (black). Unfortunately Enzo didn’t make it, but Emmy and Ebony found a great home. Here are my journal entries from that time!

The kittens are full of play and spend their waking time bouncing around the bedroom! They occasionally stop long enough to purr and snuggle with us, but soon they’re off again. So much energy!

These kittens were found seven weeks ago, stuffed in a closed cardboard box in a recycling bin. An employee at the cardboard recycling depot heard the mewing and rescued them before the cardboard reached the baler.
