Lily Iliev

Alison has been a Saskatoon resident all her life. Upon completion of her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, she began working in the audit department at Federated Co-operatives Ltd. During her time there, she completed her Certified Management Accountant designation and received her certificate in November 2012. She currently works in the non-profit industry as the Director of Accounting for the Saskatoon & Region Home Builders’ Association.
Growing up in Saskatoon with a family involved in dance and gymnastics, Alison is familiar with all of the fundraising activities required to keep an organization functional.  As a board member of the Saskatoon SPCA, Alison is looking forward to the opportunity to participate in the development of Saskatoon’s community, while pairing that with her love of animals.
Alison currently resides in Saskatoon with her husband and their rescue Pit Bull mix, Layla.

I am originally from Bulgaria, a small country in Europe and moved to Canada in 2003. I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the U of S and now am working on completing my CPA designation.

We have been calling Saskatoon our home for 18 years now and myself, my husband and our 10 month old daughter love the city and the people we have surrounded ourselves with.

We have two pets that rule our house: Foxy, a 16 year old cat and Mia, 6 year old dog. Both of them are adopted and we can't imagine our lives without them!

I am looking forward to helping the SPCA in achieving its goals and making a difference in animals' lives.
