Heidi Abramyk

Alison has been a Saskatoon resident all her life. Upon completion of her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, she began working in the audit department at Federated Co-operatives Ltd. During her time there, she completed her Certified Management Accountant designation and received her certificate in November 2012. She currently works in the non-profit industry as the Director of Accounting for the Saskatoon & Region Home Builders’ Association. 
Growing up in Saskatoon with a family involved in dance and gymnastics, Alison is familiar with all of the fundraising activities required to keep an organization functional.  As a board member of the Saskatoon SPCA, Alison is looking forward to the opportunity to participate in the development of Saskatoon’s community, while pairing that with her love of animals.
Alison currently resides in Saskatoon with her husband and their rescue Pit Bull mix, Layla.
 

Heidi has 10 years of experience working in marketing, communications, and design in sectors ranging from apparel, transportation, software, and the public sector. She currently works as the Manager of Marketing and Communications with the Saskatchewan Health Quality Council. Heidi has a Bachelor of Design from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from Thompson Rivers University, and a Diploma in Public Relations from the University of Victoria. She has volunteered with local organizations such as IABC Saskatoon, Camponi Housing Corporation, Data for Good Regina/Saskatoon, and SPMA Saskatchewan.
