Cats

RE: COVID-19
At this time, the shelter has been closed to the general public to protect our staff who provide care to animals in need. If you are interested in adopting, please apply through our website (following the link below). We will then call you to schedule a visit with the animal you have indicated interest in. If you have any further quesions about a particular animal or about our current adoption process, please call 306 374 PETS. Thank you for your patience!

All adoptable cats from the Saskatoon SPCA have completed a health assessment, and most are able to go home the same day the adoption application is completed. Because of the very high cat population in Saskatchewan, there is always a large selection of cats and kittens available to choose from at the shelter! For a list of prices, as well as information on everything that is included in the adoption price, please see our Adoption Fees page.

Cat adopters, please note: As per the City of Saskatoon's Animal Control Bylaw, 1999, cats are not permitted to run at large within city limits. When your cat is off your private property, it must be on a leash no more than 2 metres in length and under proper control or in a kennel. Thank you for being a responsible pet owner!
